The two men behind Tellason, Tony Patella and Pete Searson have been close friends for two decades and have always had an affinity for all things well-made and authentic.
Both had worked in the clothing industry for 20 years and it was time for them to take the step of making something of their own. Good men's jeans had to be it, so they started making a really good pair of jeans.
Where does Tellason come from?
Tellason developed jeans with a great fit and beautiful denim fabric from the iconic White Oak Cone Mills in Greensboro, North Carolina. The jeans are still cut and sewn in San Francisco, California.

Their love for sustainable goods, their respect for where they come from and who made them, is reflected in their brand. "We are 100% committed to the city of San Francisco and will forever make our jeans here and only here. This place is the home of blue jeans culture as we know it. Tellason belongs in San Francisco
It is very important that historically American products are produced in the US. On a micro level, those jeans are produced in their home in San Francisco. Just as we don't want prosciutto from Germany, denim-conscious consumers around the world crave jeans from America (and specifically from San Francisco). We are very proud of the fact that not only our jeans, but also the pockets, thread, buttons, rivets and leather patches are made in America. We have become friends with our suppliers and find it important to work with them and their companies to manufacture our products.
