The story of Japan Blue Jeans

In 2007, Japan Blue, a Japanese selvedge denim shop, exhibited their fabric at the annual Denim by Premiere Vision in Paris.

Thus began the story of Japan Blue Jeans, which was founded three years later in Kojima, Okayama. With a vision of simplicity for style and design, they wanted to make the best possible jeans, from the best materials. The kind of jeans that would stand the test of time.

Japan Blue Jeans: high-quality and simple sophistication

Producing jeans with a good cut and calibre that would appeal to as many professional designers and major brands as possible was no easy task. The jeans had to present an absolutely beautiful silhouette. Today, these jeans are seen by Japanese and international buyers as a combination of high-quality and simple sophistication.

Arborator Denim Company's roots

1984 "Martin, put your coat on." Ma is already outside. The sandwiches in a paper bag, the thermos filled with coffee. "Come, we must hurry: The clock won't wait for us." It is 4 o'clock, we are driving to the flower auction in Aalsmeer. It's exciting. Every time. There is no time to lose. Literally. The clock determines.
